btaylorBrian Taylor joined Coffey Law in August 2017, bringing with him a vast amount of trial experience he gained during his nine years as a Forsyth County Assistant District Attorney. As a prosecutor, Brian litigated almost every type of criminal case imaginable – from misdemeanor offenses and DWIs to felony drug, assault, property crimes, white collar crimes, criminal conspiracies, vehicular homicides, murders, and even capital litigation. Mr. Taylor tried nearly 100 jury trials during his tenure as a prosecutor and brings a unique trial perspective to the Coffey Law team.

Mr. Taylor will focus his attention at Coffey Law to litigating and trying a broad range of civil matters, most importantly, medical malpractice cases.

Mr. Taylor received his Bachelor of Art degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2000, his Masters degree from Texas State University–San Marcos in 2002, and his Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2008. In law school, Mr. Taylor was a member of the Moot Court honors society and competed in several national competitions, including the ABA national tournament in Chicago, Illinois. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the Order of Barristers, an honor bestowed on those exhibiting extraordinary skill in oral advocacy.
